Recently I jetted off to Los Angeles for what I like to call a W'oliday (a "Working Holiday”).
I was in need of a holiday and some fresh, creative inspiration. As the Universe works in wonderful ways, an amazing opportunity popped up for me. My friend, Faustina Agolley (TV Host & Producer), approached me to photograph portraits of some creative, inspirational people for an event that she was collaborating on called Switch Sessions, Los Angeles.
Switch Inc. was created by Phill Nosworthy, a Sydney-based entrepreneur, and brings together a diverse group of leaders who together, share ideas about meaning in life and business.
It was a great opportunity to work on such a fantastic project and to meet, and be inspired by, such like minded people.
Check out more about the event featured on The Collective website; the article will be published in Issue 19 of Renegade Collectivemagazine. Below are some of my snaps taken for article.
Phill Nosworthy - Founder of Switch Inc. and Switch Sessions and Faustina Agolley - Switch Sessions Collaborator and Broadcaster.
Sylvia Rosenberger - CEO of the Downtown Women’s Center. DTWC is the only organization in Los Angeles exclusively dedicated to addressing the needs of women overcoming poverty and homelessness in Skid Row.
Sophia Chang - New York-based Artist/Designer/Illustrator.
Shelby Stone - Film & TV Producer at Flavor Unit.
Phil Tayag - Founder and CEO of Jabbawockeez.
Jon and Jules - Herschel Supply Co.
Robbie Martin - Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
One of the things I discovered and loved about LA is that Aussies like to stick together! I had the chance to meet Hugh Sheridan and take some shots of him around his neighbourhood. He’s such a fun, humble guy with a great sense of humour. It was an absolute pleasure to meet him.
